# The GJ 1132 system

GJ 1132 is a K orange star in Vela, 56.23 ly away, with 2 known planets. Their orbits run from 0.0157 to 0.0476 AU. All but one were detected by transit.

## The planets, innermost first

| Planet | Orbit (AU) | Period | Radius | Mass | Equilibrium T |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [b](https://spacecatalog.org/object/gj-1132-b) | 0.0157 | 1.629 d | 1.19 R⊕ | 1.84 M⊕ | 584 K |
| [c](https://spacecatalog.org/object/gj-1132-c) | 0.0476 | 8.929 d | 1.52 R⊕ | 2.91 M⊕ | 300 K |

Every figure is the planet's composite parameter from the [NASA Exoplanet Archive (Planetary Systems Composite Parameters)](https://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/cgi-bin/TblView/nph-tblView?app=ExoTbls&config=PSCompPars), one consistent set per world. Semi-major axes are orbits about the star, not distances from Earth.
