# The Macondo system

Macondo is a K2IV-V orange subgiant in Antlia, 90.85 ly away, with 2 known planets. Their orbits run from 0.0835 to 0.508 AU. All of them were detected by radial velocity.

## The planets, innermost first

| Planet | Orbit (AU) | Period | Radius | Mass | Equilibrium T |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [GJ 1137 c](https://spacecatalog.org/object/gj-1137-c) | 0.0835 | 9.641 d | 2.11 R⊕ | 5.12 M⊕ | 769 K |
| [HD 93083 b](https://spacecatalog.org/object/hd-93083-b) | 0.508 | 144.7 d | 14.30 R⊕ | 143 M⊕ | 312 K |

Every figure is the planet's composite parameter from the [NASA Exoplanet Archive (Planetary Systems Composite Parameters)](https://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/cgi-bin/TblView/nph-tblView?app=ExoTbls&config=PSCompPars), one consistent set per world. Semi-major axes are orbits about the star, not distances from Earth.
