Triton is a moon of Neptune. It orbits Neptune at a mean distance of 354 800 . It has a mass of 3.58×10⁻³ and a mean radius of 0.21 · 1353 . It was discovered in 1846.

Neptune's largest moon, orbiting backwards — a captured Kuiper Belt object, with nitrogen geysers erupting through a surface near absolute zero.
