M58 is a spiral galaxy Sb in the constellation Virgo, 94.22 from Earth, shining at apparent magnitude 10.30 (). It is catalogued as 2MASX J12374359+1149051, IRAS 12351+1205 and IRAS F12351+1205, among 10 designations in total. It was discovered in 1779.
